FREEDON NADD from "Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi: The Freedon Nadd Uprising" comic. Dark Lord of the Sith, and King of Onderon, he lived from 4,400 BBY–c. 4,350 BBY. He was trained by the holocron of the "Sith God" ADAS, as well as the spirit of the Dark Lord NAGA SADOW. Nadd's spirit played a part in the fall of both the proud Jedi EXAR KUN as well as the legendary hero ULIC QEL-DROMA, and was instrumental in the reemergence of the Sith in the known galaxy following the collapse of the Old Sith Empire, via the Sith War. His reign was concurrent with that of another self-proclaimed Dark Lord known as VITIATE, the "Sith Emperor". Nadd's legacy was the cause for both the Beast Wars of Onderon and the Freedon Nadd uprising. His lightsaber shoto and blaster were amongst the most powerful Sith artifacts ever created.
Alright! Finally! After a long pause, the Sith Dynasty project is going back on schedule. (Not that there ever was a schedule to begin with) This was a fun one to color. The simplicity of the armor made it necessary for me to learn how to apply textures, and needless to say, I'm very happy with the results. As usual, the design is a reconciliation of several different canon designs and what I believe to be the parts that make him most unique. It's mostly based on his miniature, with the helmet/crown and build of the more recent iterations. And yes, I think I'll be using a grey background from now on.
